Kate Forrester

Kate Forrester joined Anacta at the beginning of the year, bringing nearly two decades’ experience in journalism and political communications. Well connected and well regarded, she previously headed up the London public affairs team at geopolitical advisory firm APCO where she provided clients with senior counsel on political engagement, communications and crisis management.

A former political adviser for the Labour Party, she has worked on general and local election campaigns, Labour leadership contests and has a large and diverse network in Westminster and beyond. She is also a veteran of the Parliamentary Press Gallery. Starting her career as a reporter on her local newspaper, Forrester then worked for regional titles including the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo, before moving to London to work in Westminster.
